Our mission was simple: raise $15,000 for the AHA.

With the help of family, friends and partners, we are proud to confirm that this year we exceeded our target and raised a hearty $20,487!!! This money will go towards intensifying research efforts and helping people reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke by focusing on building stronger health and a better quality of life.

Raising money while raising our heart rate
This year we dedicated four months to actively fundraising and promoting healthy hearts. During the summer and fall we hosted a number of events that culminated with the AHA Morris County Heart Walk.

More than 60 people from the OCHWW community participated in the 5K walk. For added support, we hosted a tent at the event and provided weary (but happy!) walkers with heart-healthy food and activities for the children.

Fundraising from our desks
Our team of AHA Champions organised raffles, a ‘Spirit Week’ — filled with fun activities including an energetic balloon pop, a wear-red party and the popular healthy snack food cart — and sold a David Ogilvy-Mad Men inspired calendar featuring fearless OCHWW leaders.

A special thank you to all who helped us on this journey to fight heart disease and stroke as team!
